Resident Camp Session 1 has begun!
Session 1, our first two-week sleepaway session of 2009, is officially under way.
Of course we here at Kennolyn waste no time getting into the summer camp groove, so today is as busy as any with almost as many activities going on simultaneously as there are trees in our forest.
Newly added to our climbing wall this year is a Bouldering section which allows campers to practice their lateral climbing skills while staying relatively close to the ground.
After every session the camp is a flurry of activity as campers move from one activity to the next.
This portion of our ropes course requires campers to climb to the top of a tree and leap off, grasping for a trapeze swing as they fly (safely, of course) through mid air among the treetops!
And speaking of trapeze, one of our KC Select activities is an actual trapeze!
Here's the entire set-up...quite an impressive sight to behold. It feels like the circus is in town.
There's so much going on here, it seems impossible to get pictures of it all. But we're trying our best to get as many pictures as we can for the blog and Parent Communicator. So check in on us often!

Test. how does this work??
